ISSN: xxxx-yyyy
Peer-reviewed open access journal Theologia vitae (ThV) published by Fellowship of Evangelical Theologians (SET, www.evangelikalni-teologie.cz) with support of Evangelical Theological Seminary of Prague (ETS, www.etspraha.cz).
The journal is distributed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC-BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited. See http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/.
The journal offers original and summary research articles, book and event reviews, summary of the best presented somewhere or short information about important documents.
The aim of the ThV is two-fold: to contribute to development of evangelical theology (theologia) and to support ministry of the whole Church without denominational distinctions (vitae).
Together with theological quality (theologia) we strife for practical usefulness (vitae). Such a theology - academical and practical at the same time - reaches often into other disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, social work, history, education etc., and reflects theologically themes relevant for biblical exegesis, church education and mission.
Theological description “evangelical” expresses theological preference of the editorial board, often also of the contributors and readers, but not always. ThV does not exclude other approaches, on the contrary, they are desirable when they help to achieve the above mentioned goals.
Since 2025 the journal is published exclusively in electronic form, on a continuous basis, i. e. individual texts are published as soon as they pass the review process (for research articles) or the editorial process (for non-reviewed texts). There are no due dates for submission or publication of the articles.
At the beginning of the following year “the best of” previous year is going to be published in print in an anthology Theologia vitae - Výběr (Selection) which is reserved for members of Fellowship of the Evangelical Theologians.
The journal was since 1999 published as a conference proceedings Evangelikální teologie (Evangelical Theology). Since 2008 it became peer-reviewed journal Theologia vitae with two issues per year (ISSN: 1803-4829). Starting with 2025 the journal has transformed into digital journal Theologia vitae (ISSN xxxx-yyyy).
